Travel by road

Bergen – Fresvik: 200 km – about 3,5 hours.

In summer, the route via Voss and the Vikafjell mountain is at its most beautiful. If the Vikafjell mountain pass is closed, the easiest way to Fresvik is via Lærdal and the Fodnes-Manheller ferry (fjord1.no).

Flåm – Fresvik: 130 km – about 2 hours.

The drive goes through Nærøydalen (part of UNESCO) and you pass Gudvangen and the stunning Stalheimskleiva and Jordalsnuten, – finally you drive over the Vikafjell mountain pass and down to the village of Vik with 2 listed churches, and further along the fiord to Fresvik.

Oslo – Fresvik:  380 km – 6 hours 30 min. Drive over the Hemsedalsfjell mountain pass, via the Fodnes-Mannheller ferry (fjord1.no) and Sogndal and then the Hella-Vangsnes ferry (fjord1.no).
